Meet Our Employee Benefits Executives

Joel S. Clark Founded the agency in 1987. Joel’s staff has over 118 years of combined employee benefits management experience in our industry. Prior to starting J.S. Clark, Joel worked as an Account Executive at a Regional Brokerage Firm from 1982-1985. Joel began his career in 1979 when he worked for the Sun Life Insurance Company as a Salaried Field Representative. Joel is a 1979 graduate of Michigan State University. Joel currently serves on the BCBSM, Health Alliance Plan, and Delta Dental advisory committees.
Paul Kahler Paul is our Vice-President and Account Executive whose staff has over 90 years combined experience in our industry. Paul joined J.S. Clark in 1986. He previously worked as the Admissions Director and Junior Varsity Basketball Coach at St. Mary's Preparatory School in Orchard Lake, MI. Paul also served as the Women's Assistant Basketball Coach at the University of Michigan located in Ann Arbor, MI from 1983-1984. A graduate of St. Mary's College located in Orchard Lake, MI, Paul currently is a member of the BCBS Agent Advisory Committee and the Delta Dental Agent Advisory Board. Paul presently services more than 90 clients, a number of which are non-profit organizations.
Johnny Jones Johnny joined J.S. Clark in 1996 as an Account Executive. He currently services more than 70 clients and in 2004, he was named the BCBSM Agent of the Year. Prior to J.S. Clark, Johnny worked as an Account Executive for Campbell Marketing where he solely serviced General Motors Corporation. He also worked in a Sales Engineering position with Ancra International where he maintained a five state territory. Johnny attended the University of Idaho before starting his professional career in 1979 with Ford Motor Company as a Transmission Design Engineer.
Keith Collins Joined the agency in 2000, Keith specializes in small to mid-size groups. He also assists individuals and their families with insurance needs. Prior to joining us, Keith worked for Hydra-Flex as a Sales Representative for industrial supplies and as a supervisor for the City of Detroit for 10 years. He earned his Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Schoolcraft College, in Livonia, MI. Keith services more than 40 clients which are primarily in the small group market. He continually strives to bring the same level of benefits and expertise to his clients that small groups don't normally see in the industry.
